Welcome to Winddancer Creations

Hello, this is Robyn Jones. Welcome to my new and improved Winddancer Creation’s website, featuring all of my customer’s favorite designs as well as my very latest and ever increasing new designs.

It gives me a great deal of enjoyment  in bringing quilting enthusiasts a series of patterns, including my State Quilts™, Australian Down Under™, Lake Butterflies™, and Military and Heroes Quilts™ collections. I have designed my patterns and full kits with all levels of experience in mind. Whether you are a beginner quilter or advanced, my easy to assemble patterns aim to bring out the creativity in all of my customers. Create a single block, customize one of our blocks, or a beautiful, full wall hanging. You can interchange blocks between different states to create a "Travel Quilt™" or a "Where I Have Lived Quilt". Over 300 designs and growing to choose from – I encourage you to mix and match and be your own artist mixing our style with traditional quilting styles, embellishments and more. I hope you enjoy creating your own unique projects from my patterns and kits. Ask for a class in your local quilting store.

Our February Releases include Old Tyme Kitchen and Beautiful Virginia. In work for March are OH, MI, FL, and Old Tyme Country Store. We hope you enjoy the latest designs.

Upcoming Designs will include: Memories (Soldiers Daughter), Fire, Police, Old Tyme Country Store featuring rocking horses, china dolls, singer sewing machines, and much more; and Native Dreams - a four block Native American panel design.

It's as easy as Trace, Place and Sew!

Bringing out your own creativity is easy with all Winddancer patterns. Our process is as easy as trace, place and sew. First, trace from our templates onto fusible web. Second, place the fused and cut fabric shapes on the background. Finally sew, to outline the pieces.

To give you the best experience that we can, we include complete detailed instructions on each of our blocks as well as downloadable videos and phone support. We create our detailed designs using the effects of the fabric color and a "layering" process to achieve our detail. This allows us to get intricate designs, while making it easy for you to place the pieces, much like a puzzle. Our diagrams, piece shapes and support videos make it easy to complete our blocks to pattern, or you make your own pattern using pieces from our blocks to make your own custom block. mix our designs with other traditional quilting blocks. Your creativity is our goal.
